While news of this virus continues to evolve, we remain committed to the safety of our staff and customers. We are working hard to deliver business continuity to our customers while dealing with its impact on our families and communities. In response to the Illinois Governor’s Shelter in Place order, Telcom Innovations Group stands ready to help our customers with their communication needs. While we are still dealing with a backlog of requests from last week, we will continue to work on new orders as they come in. The regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has on our Customers, requires us to do what’s in our power to provide telecommunications services.

While there is some impact to our day to day operations, we are abiding by the state ‘Shelter in Place’ orders and we will continue to share information on what you can expect from TIG during this time.
Most customer systems support some form of mobility or Teleworker. Our ability to deploy these solutions for you is determined by the existing system, software levels and available applications. Contact your account manager if you need to discuss what options exist for your organization.
Here’s our plan starting on Monday, March 23: Telecommunications is a critical and an essential service and, as such, TIG will continue to dispatch technicians for our customers when required. TIG is set-up with staff both remotely and in the office. This allows the delivery of additional system components and offer customer pick-up if needed. Please do not come into the office without a scheduled time. Our service delivery model may change if the State imposes any additional restrictions. Any exceptions to support would be based on changes to the state or national mandates. Over the next few weeks, we will be contacting customers scheduled for new installs and/or upgrades to verify if these fall within a critical service need and reschedule if not.
Please note not all implementations require a technician be on-site. We will continue to do as much remotely as we can. If you need training for any newly introduced applications, we strongly recommend using Mitel's Feature Teacher which offers interactive training videos for all Mitel phones, including the MiCollab Client and soft-phone applications. We have a comprehensive and robust strategy in place to support our customers.
